2. General Policy Statement

There shall be no discrimination against any employee in relation to matters covered by Personnel Employment Policies because of race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, place of origin, creed, marital status and/or family relationship, political or religious affiliation or belief, age (other than the provisions related to retirement), ancestry, physical or mental disability, conviction for a criminal charge or a summary conviction charge unrelated to employment, or membership or non-membership in, or activities on behalf of, the Administrative and Professional Staff Association or other factors unrelated to the performance of duties.
